PITCH-IN Week expects to collect 3.75 million pounds of litter throughout 6,000 community locations. To date PITCH-IN volunteers have removed 125,000 tonnes of litter from Canadian communities equating to the weight of 125 Eiffel Towers.

The Port of Newcastle PITCH-IN Week campaign launched April 9th with an impressive community clean up where 2,733 pounds of litter was collected from their neighbourhoods, ravines, shorelines and trails.
